I just wanted to bring attention to the rock that has remained solid through all the recent whirlwinds of the basketball program. All we have heard from Josh Richardson is how he can't wait to get back on the court wearing orange. VolNation, if you didn't love Josh before, you have to love him now. He is a true VFL. I hereby dub Josh Richardson "The Rock."

Please show this fine young man some love.

Josh has done nothing but earn my respect. He has turned into one of my top 5 favorite players at UT in the last 20 years. I think we are in for a big surprise for his senior year as he builds off of the end of last season, and becomes the leader of this team!

Agreed. Love the guy. Matter of fact, I think the way he gels with the new recruits is what will determine the way the next season goes.

Good young man that is getting good advice on how to handle obstacles by someone in his life and he'll be stronger for it down the road.

Leaders take moments of adversity as opportunities to succeed....

Think both he and Moore are taking the opportunity to lead.

Yes, and Hubbs. And the other players coming in that have hit some obstacles to get to UT. Our team will either have a really bad attitude, or will play with a chip and mental toughness.

Don’t overlook the fact that Galen Campbell has also not wavered one iota in the midst of all the turmoil.

Much respect to Josh, he has worked his *** off and improved every year. I honestly think he has a great shot at having a long career at the next level. Can handle it well, knock down open 3's, nice mid-range game, and lockdown defender. I wish Jordy and Stokes well, but Josh will the better NBA player IMO Reminds me of Kawhi Leonard.

Dude the Kawhi Leonard comparison is spot on! On top of all you mentioned he's a really good athlete. I agree if he can build off his late season success this up coming season he will definitely get drafted.

Josh is an amazing player, our team is EXTREMELY lucky to have a guy who can get our fans out of their seats and provide everyone with cheers and laughter. Our team will be built atop his bedrock this season. Thanks Josh!!! :good!:

Josh has worked hard and progressed every year. I do think he will play at the next level for a number of years. Reminds me of Gerald Wilkins.

Not sure about "the rock" as a nickname but agree with him becoming a fav basketvol. He stepped up incredibly last year and my hats off to him. Thanks, Josh! V4L!

If JR improves this coming year as much as he has each season he has been a Voll, he will easily be a 1st team All-SEC selection.. Great character , great attitude, plays with great intensity every single game.. He will definitely be the key to our season which I think could be pretty surprising compared to what I was thinking a couple of months ago.
