I'm not sure he's as good as advertised . . . but leave it to the Hawks to lose two building blocks to the Grizzlies and Greece.

If a pure cancer like Smith is one of your buliding blocks, you can count on the house collapsing in short order.

Hat, we're talking about the Hawks . . . anybody that can fog a mirror is a building block.

I'd take you and your drinking buddies over the current management.

It never ceases to amaze me how teams like the Hawks and Clippers, with front offices staffed by alleged professional talent evaluators, can take lottery pick after lottery pick and produce absolute garbage.

Hat, a little off topic, but what are your thoughts on team USA? TIA..
It's the best team we've sent to a major international competition since the '96 Olympics. I think they'll win gold, but neither Argentina nor Spain will be a cakewalk.

. . . and then in their infinite wisdom they extend a coach who still hasn't gotten to .500 and whose great career "accomplishment" is getting an 8 seed in the playoffs and not getting killed by the Celtics.
