Don’t disagree but what is are blue chip index? How far away are we? Does somebody with time on their side want to do the math?

Our current recruiting class, for 2023 is 44%. If I had to guess, I'd say we are probably in the high 30's or 40's as a program.

We are at least 2 to 3 recruiting classes away from having over 50 percent of our players being blue chip prospects. You need a 50 percent plus average of 4 and 5 star players in order to compete for and win championships. The more 4 and 5 star players you sign, the higher your ratio. the more 3 star and lower players you sign the lower your ratio. If the majority of your recruiting classes are 3 stars year after year then you just keep digging your hole deeper.

Agree some of the above are not good geographically good fits, but tv markets are good, OR brings Seattle, AZ St brings Phoenix, NC brings whole state of North Carolina. SEC coast to coast.
