With our past few coaches it’s always seemed that Saban knew exactly what scheme we were running and was always several steps ahead of us. And even though I don’t like him, he’s a great coach. Heupel out coached him tonight

CJH just cemented his tenure into the VOL history books...The man should and WILL be paid well....Folks we have finally found our coach and honestly how can you not love the guy?...He's so down to earth and is clearly one of us...Lets pay him and keep him here till he's ready to retire.

"Big picture, we were the best team on the field this game."

Fans want to talk about polls. I love this guy has a week to week approach as I believe most coaches do. Teams take care of biz on the field. Polls will take care of rankings.

We kept our strategy pretty complex… throw it to Hyatt in the endzone, throw it to Hyatt in the endzone, throw it to Hyatt in the endzone, throw it to Hyatt in the endzone & throw it to Hyatt in the endzone… it’s hard to keep up….

I love his approach. As fans we can afford to think about national championships and assume we will handle business against the teams we should, and that’s fine.

As coaches and players though they have to control what they can control and prepare consistently and properly week to week for each opponent regardless of what has already transpired. Our staff and players seem to know that and take it seriously.

One of the most impressive things about the Heupel era to me is we don’t overlook anyone or take any game for granted. Even the games we have lost it was clear we showed up prepared and competed.

When I listen to CJH do a press conference I remember back to a number of the UT HC's before him and I think he is the real deal. I'm sure he'll have a lot of success recruiting even better athletes to play football for UT. As he said tonight we are just starting this journey. What do you think the 4 and 5 star recruits thought about that atmosphere at Neyland today...hope several were thinking can't wait to play ball here.
