As I remember, Hawkins made a trip to Knoxville during the summer after having a good junior season. He told UT that he was heading to Kentucky after he left, and that Kentucky had offered him and he was going to commit unless he got an offer from UT. UT then offered him on the spot and he accepted.

I noticed Minor Bowens was not listed on the UTSports Roster for 2010. I think he transferred from TSU and played some last year as a jr. Is he still with the team or did he leave? Could provide needed depth on OL.
