I'm not a Steelers fan and I don't follow them that closely but from the little I've paid attention to, the growing collective opinion seems to be Rudolph is on track to win the backup job.

Although after last year I have no idea how to gauge anything.

I believe so. Dobbs made some good plays tonight, but the preseason stats favor Rudolph.

TBH going by Steeler fans there's a chance Dobbs may not even make the final roster. They may keep the other guy as the 3rd stringer and hope they can get a trade for Dobbs.

Landry Jones was the most hated player on Steeler message boards until he was cut, now it's Dobbs. I don't any team offering much of substance for a 4th round pick who can't stay on his current team as the 3rd string QB

I think you missed the memo that the Steelers won't settle for anything less than 3 1st round picks for Dobbs.
