One post meant in jest.
You guys can continue to focus on it and ignore my other 6000+ posts.
Breaker ... breaker that's a negatory...... there is a thread started by you that's contrary to "your message"
I remember alot of people fighting with me in the off-season when I predicted Dobbs would have 4,000 total yards and 40 total TDs this season. Guys like KBVol called that pure fantasy.
Well lets look at the numbers so far and see how close to reality my pre-season prediction is. cfbstats.com - Joshua Dobbs 2016 Player Statistics - Tennessee Volunteers
Stats thru 6 games:
1,433 yards passing (238.8 ypg)
14 passing TDs
8 INTs
324 yards rushing (54.0 ypg)
5 rushing TDs
1,757 total yards (292.8 ypg)
20 total TDs (14 passing, 5 rushing, 1 receiving)
Projected Stats thru 13 games:
3,104 yards passing
30 passing TDs
17 INTs
702 yards rushing
11 rushing TDs
3,806 total yards
43 total TDs
Projected Stats thru 15 games: (if we make it to Tampa)
3,582 yards passing
35 passing TDs
20 INTs
810 yards rushing
13 rushing TDs
4,392 total yards
50 total TDs :yikes:
Only real negative on here is the interceptions. And all 8 weren't his fault. Croom and Preston definitely gifted DBs a couple. If Josh can decrease the interceptions slightly, then he'll be on pace for a HISTORIC season.
We just need to make it to Atlanta with our playoff hopes intact and Josh could break all the TD and total offense records at UT.
How come?
Everything I said would happen in the off-season has happened.
Dobbs is lighting it up passing the ball.
To be fair, you also previously predicted Dobbs to have 4,000 passing and 1,000 rushing yards. Which is ridiculous.
No.
My official prediction was 4000 total yards. I consistently said I expected him to get about 3200 yards passing and 800 yards rushing along with 40 total TDs.
I never said he would definitely get 4000 passing and 1000 rushing. I only said it was possible.
I don't think dobbs will reach those numbers. I think he's good enough too. But after the Bama game, our schedule gets weak. We are already better at this point this year than we were last year. If this team turns it on like that did late last year, will start to see a lot of Quinten Dormandy in the second half of games. That's a big if though, if they start playing 60 minutes of football, dobbs won't play past the 3rd quarter in 5 of our last 6 games. (Bama game being the one I left out)
in 4 pages of comments, there are about 8 comments actually pertaining to the post and the rest just talking sh*t to/about d4h. this is getting. so..olddd:crazy:
There you are. I thought you would be hiding in a hole after Dobbs has proven you wrong.
All off-season you kept talking about numbers.
What now?
Dobbs is on pace to match exactly what I said.
You damn straight here I am. Unlike you, I never did, nor would I ever leave.
Nor would I call my favorite player an idiot or dumb and say he should be benched.
Nor would I say I wanted my team to get "skull f*****" by their most important rival therefore effectively ruining their season.
And I sure as hell wouldn't ever lie about why I said what I said like you have.....btw, we all know you're full of it and we see right through you.
See, here's the difference between you and me (well, one difference anyway.....I'm also not a lying racist either) I'm thrilled that Josh is having a very good season because he's the qb of Tennessee and the better he does the better The Volunteers do. That and he's a fantastic kid and I want to see him be as successful as possible.
He's not perfect but he's improved his downfield throwing and he just continues to be a playmaking machine for MY TEAM, The Tennessee Volunteers. We simply couldn't have the success we've had without him.
I'm thrilled for Josh, who I've said over and over again is as good a face of MY SCHOOL'S FOOTBALL PROGRAM as there could possibly be. And if his getting to 4,000 or 5,000 yards means WE win then I'll gladly, ecstatically, be wrong about the season I thought he was gonna have.
Btw, I think I read that you also said you've "been right about everything" .....lol! So wrong....so very, very wrong.
LOL "official prediction."No.
My official prediction was 4000 total yards. I consistently said I expected him to get about 3200 yards passing and 800 yards rushing along with 40 total TDs.
I never said he would definitely get 4000 passing and 1000 rushing. I only said it was possible.
FYI I never left.
I was banned for 2 weeks.
The second my ban was lifted I was back posting.
That's cause they got nothing else.
They know I've been right about everything I said in the off-season.
They just don't want to admit it so they deflect.
I am not going to pile on you, but son you need to dial it back a bit. Especially after your epic child like meltdown.
You are a Vols fan and I would gladly share a quart of corn with any of you guys on here. Lord knows we all have our quirks, but you very publically made an ass of yourself and now you are right back to talking in absolutes as if your all knowing. Show a little humility in all things and you might not catch as much crap. You start some good football conversations, but they implode immediately.
Be Safe,
