first, you're assuming credit's not being given. if he gets drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, he's still earned that. credit due.

what you really meant to say was "will you finally admit i was right". which has absolutely nothing to do with Dobbs, just your inflated gas bag ego.

and if he is the 5th qb taken in the 2nd round, you can thank the 4 other teams that picked qb's ahead of him for shooting him up the boards, driving up his value.......not some random post you made 14000 times about how good Dobbs was, and insert your "told ya so".:peace2:

if he's the 2nd or 3rd qb taken, in the 2nd round, then by all means....go get yours. until then...........

There are about the same amount of qbs each year. Plenty of them go undrafted. If Dobbs is drafted and drafted high it means he is really good.

it's not a great class, and i think minus a couple of teams, those that would like to draft a QB will definitely wait as long as they can do so. i think Dobbs benefits if some of these qb desperate teams snatch up the kizers, watsons and trubisky's of the world, and leave the Dobbs, peterman and Mahomes types to later rounds.

but, if 4 qb's get taken between round 1 and early round 2, you may see someone make the move mid/later 2nd round just to make sure they get one....

if he's taken as the 3rd or 4th qb in the draft, then you know someone really fell in love with the guy.

I think he could definitely be the 4th or 5th qb taken. I have just as much faith in Dobbs as the other top qbs this year. With a better record and better game planning I think he would have been a lock for the first or second with the other qbs out there this draft.

I think Watson, Trubisky, and Mahomes will go ahead. Kizer and the others I don't know. Maybe someone falls in love with Kizer's size and arm strength.

Simply a traditional NFL prostyle vs collegiate dual threat qb and who scouts, analysts and GMs think translate better to the pro game imo. I'd take Josh too for what it's worth....more sustained high level performance over his college career despite questions about his passing accuracy. Too many unknowns about Trubisky imo.

my only point is that i think there are teams that do value Josh Dobbs. i don't know that any of them are in dire need of a qb RIGHT NOW. i think a lot of those teams are hoping he falls to a spot they can get him. there are several teams out there this year that are looking for a guy that they can develop. they're not going to pick that kind of qb in round 2....not sure they would even if they felt the HAD to....

and with as many ?'s there are on this incoming class, it really, to me anyway, depends on how much value an individual team puts on a given qb to be their future.

so, if you have a couple of teams that do value these guys, and they start to see 2, 3, 4 off the board, they could get ancy and pick josh or whoever is left at that point to fill a need.

if you think Josh Dobbs getting picked in round 3 or lower is a reflection on him, or the type of player he is vs. getting picked in round 2, then the first thing i would ask is what # QB was he picked at?

cause i'm telling you, if he's the 5th qb taken in round 4, it's most likely going to be a lot better situation, and to a team that does value him, than being the 5th qb taken in round 2, because that team desperately needs a qb.

and if he's the 2nd or 3rd or even 4th qb taken in the 1st two rounds, then you know someone really liked the guy...and valued him enough to pull the trigger. which i think would still surprise many.

I think Mahomes has the best arm. Forces a few though.
Dobbs the best thinker but needs time to fully dissect offensive schema.
Watson may be the best all around.
Dobbs and Watson by farthe best runners but Peterman and Mahomes aren't bad.

Peterman is terrible and vastly overrated. The guy literally had one good game in his career. One 308 yard game was his only game with 300+ yards.

PM makes some of the worst throws any QB has ever made and then makes a throw on the move that few can. He's an interesting prospect.

So in other words, nobody. I'm not manipulating ****. You are trying to pretend that Dobbs is remotely considered a 2nd round draft pick this year.....he isn't and there isn't a halfway intelligent person that believes so.

Todd McShay and Mel Kiper are both saying Dobbs will be a 2nd round pick ALL OVER SPORTSCENTER today.

...league scouts and personnel guys, who you claim don't know anything and are terrible at their jobs.

But all these guys who don't know what they're doing supposedly love Josh Dobbs... so YAY!

They are finally getting right information.

I told you months ago that accurate information about draft position only starts coming out in mid-April about a week before the draft. That is when draft boards are finalized.
