First off, I've always been a sunshine pumper here on VN. But ,as much as JD has shown out and the praise he's getting, I have to wonder if our coach really does have what it takes to develop the talent we're getting. Not throwing away my sunshine card away yet, lol, but I'll be interested in what we see out of JG, since he is supposed to have even better skills than JD when he came in.

Seems to me the praise he getting says he was developed better than we thought. I don't think a week of practice suddenly made him a better passer. We were probably harder on his accuracy since he played for our team.

Enjoyed watching him play on the hill and wish him the best.
He's what college football is supposed to be about.

Who do you think developed Dobbs? Himself? The Browns staff in a week? Or his coaches at UT over four years?

I don't think it was necessarily a development problem. Our offense just doesn't seem to require classic QB skills like a pro style offense does. Dobbs is clearly capable of learning anything they throw at him. I just don't think Butch threw that much at him.

The offense put up historic numbers. What more are you asking?
