Believe me, it's become embarrassing for those of us who didn't sign it as well.

Why?

Because tens of thousands of UT fans, right or wrong, used a form of civil disobedience to air their greivances? That, to me, is far better than teabagging, tree poisoning, or most of the stuff that is said about coaches and players on this very site after almost any football loss.

Maybe I view this singularly...I accept that. I love my alma mater but also know that she doesn't always make the right decisions just as I love the fans and think the same of them (us).

Because right or wrong, those of us who didn't sign it get lumped in with those that did by the national media. You realize you're comparing the petition within the framework of uber nut job fans, so yeah, pardon me for not wanting to be lumped in with you.
