My thoughts:
Jordan is better scorer
Lebron is better team player

Different era
Different competition

Is it really fair to argue for it? I think if they went 1 on 1, Jordan would win 3/5 times

My take is simple: Jordan, at both their perspective peaks, was a slightly better player than LeBron. LeBron has had the greater career.

I'd take Kareem over both.

I can't tell if serious

Kareem was the best player in the league for a solid decade. He won 6 MVPs and could have easily had 2 more. He won 6 NBA titles as a contributor. He was the best player on 4 title teams. He made 11 NBA Finals. He was a top 5 NBA player for 17 years. He was an elite playoff performer. He's also the greatest college player of all time.

You done did it now!

Who is the GOAT? I think the best resume wins. My opinion is that with his longevity and the multiple eras in which he enjoyed immense success, it's Lebron.

Who had the best peak vs. his peers? MJ

Who is the better player? I don't know, but I'd rather build a team around Lebron. Lebron went to the finals as a young solo act. He changed his game to play much more off-ball with the Heat and won 2 titles there. Then he added bully ball to his game, basically fully became the PG, and won maybe the greatest title in NBA history. Then he won a title with a dominant big as his running mate.

MJ won a lot, but he won one way, with one coach, in one decade. I have no doubt that MJ would be elite now, but we know for sure Lebron is always going to adapt.
