Jordan Rodgers SEC Network

Moron said our offensive line is NOT physical and cannot block. I know everything I need to know about the SEC Network. They scrape the bottom of the barrel to fill a position. Hire someone like Inky Johnson that makes sense every time he speaks.

I stopped caring as soon as I saw "Jordan Rodgers"...the guy is an ass clown.

I understand they played good in the second half. But thats just it, only half a game. They need to be more consistent all the way through. That's all I'm saying.

Agreed. I think QD has seen ghosts sometimes because of this. All it takes is someone hitting you low or at the knees a couple times, unexpectedly when you think you have had good protection. The ol will be solid, solid, solid and then sh*t the bed. They gotta be checked in mentally 100% of the time not 75%. I'd rather have guys get beat for a big play than have them make mental errors and easily give up the big play.

So SECN should only hire former Tennessee players that say only positive things about UT?

Hate to burst your bubble but Rodgers is right. Our OL has been weak ever since Butch arrived in Knoxville. As much as it pains me to say this, the last time we had a really good, strong physical OL was when Dooley was here.

Once again you make inaccurate statements. We almost broke the school rushing record in 2015, but our offensive line has always been weak. Lol

Sheesh, I thought line played tougher than I can remember, at least from a few stinkers last year several years, getting pushed around.

Mentally, the penalties/missed assignment...yeah, brains like oatmeal! But physically, I thought the O-line did well..

The o-line was fine.

I just don't do all the "analysis" segments on SECN and ESPN. 9 times out of 10 it's pure fluff from a has been who has done minimal research.

Then stop watching.

Right before the game started I was watching the SEC network. They were in studio with Chizik and Doering. They were asked to make their pick on UT-UF. Chizik chose UF. His reasoning was that UT's best 2 receivers were out for the game, Jennings and Wolf. Chizik didn't bother to do the research that the Wolf who was out was the younger brother. Just kinda made me laugh. Who cares what the networks say? Win some games when they are there for the taking.

We physically dominated the gators' D line in the 2nd half. Soft?

You do realize that Tenn dominated TOP in the 3rd qtr, and wore the DLine down? Much of it was result of inept UF offense and Dormady converting some critical 3rd downs. Good OL play to me is ability to establish a consistent run game early and to protect the QB in critical situations. These guys still can't do it.

we threw it 39 times, Kelly had 19 carries.

When your football program continuously embarrasses itself on national TV year after year people begin to talk. I'm just not sure how you don't get it.

They only care about Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. If you're not in that group you don't matter.

When we start playing to our potential, we will be in that group.. The quality of the athlete we put on the field is equal to that group.. Our fans are as loyal as any in that group. Our facilities are equal or better that any in that group. Our production is not!

yeah, you lose games like this, the way we lose them, as often as we do, to the opponents we do........this is the territory you get to live in until you do something else.

we should be pretty thick skinned by now. though i struggle with it too.

I'm sure everyone here didn't miss the game. Our o line got better as the game progressed. UF was gassed and everyone here knows it.

Shows we are better conditioned. We need to work on technique, especially where the match up doesn't favor us.

Jordan Rodgers played for Vandy. He will say as many negative things about UT as he can in hopes of giving UT a bad image, and trying to persuade recruits not to go to Tennessee. Any reasonable person will disregard everything he says.

That's a problem that a lot of people have...seeing UT at the top or near it. Barring any transfers and with a good recruiting class coming in, two or three top of the line starters getting medical redshirts this year, UT is gonna be stacked and deep so these people are getting all the blows in they can while they can.

UGA will be favored coming into Knoxville but there's a chance UT can pull this game off which would be huge this year. Even a well played close game will go far in developing UT's future. We need to learn from our mistakes and stop making them and not make any more. I'm awaiting to see OMG'S post this week concerning the maxims. It's obvious that UT was way off this past week. We are better than that. This upcoming game with UGA is very pivotable in many ways for UT football.

Expect to be the punching bag of the SEC when your coach is Butch Jones. Tennessee isn't just the laughing stock of the conference, they're the laughing stock of the country after Saturday.

Kelly gets a lot of his yds after contact.

OL is soft. Very disappointing. Kelly's effort masks a big weakness.

Oh, really? Watch film of Trey Smith if you think he is soft. Sure Kelly breaks tackles but he has had the holes as well. This was a stupid post.

If our O line is that bad that makes the case that much stronger for Kelly being the best back in the SEC
