Jordan Murphy is off the team Per CJP

not sure if posted in here and not looking through the thread to find out so here is what Murphy tweeted today

He is a talent and I expected him to emerge but I also have been concerned since following him on Twitter the last two years or so. Certainly didn't come off like one who was committed or a leader. I hate it because he may cost himself down the road, as I think he really had a shot to be a great one here. He's a good athlete but clearly missing the stuff it takes to get it done.

Both guys will probably be NFL draft picks in a few years. Those with "no talent" or "attitude problems" here seem to be fine elsewhere.

But everyone is saying Pruitt doesn't care? Like I said Saturday was alarming but there is still players on this team that are unwilling to give there all for UT
As bad as that game was.... it must be a whole lot of players unwilling to give their all.

If true, this is scary.

We have a coach who isn’t throwing bad apples off the team and bad apples who are trying to burn the place down and choosing to leave.
A take that only you would bring away from that. I wonder if it was related to the team meeting. The ones that want it blasted the ones that didn't. A little "Code Red" action and they ran scared.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor and stop doubling down on all this dumbass stuff you keep spouting. Stop openly rooting against our coach because you obviously have a personal vendetta against Pruitt.

He is obviously a TROLL Plated by Vandy, Uf, Or Uga. Simple as that.

What's the Vegas line on Murphy transferring to GA State?
A BIG "0"
If you watch the head man for Ga. St. on the sideline, do you think he would but up with someone with the attitude displayed by Murphy? Or for that matter even have recruited him in the first place like that guy that use to be head man on the hill did.

I terminated a very competent and critical employee not long ago for this very reason. He did a lot of things really well but made everyone around him worse and stood as an obstacle to good teamwork.

I didn't know that Murphy had a bad attitude. Real shame. He seemed to have some talent.
He was like our fourth best receiver this year, but would have probably been a starter next year, so we aren't missing much.

I have found that people who are cancer to a team with their attitude are always an addition by subtraction when you separate them from the team. I used to fear losing people because of their skill while knowing what a pain in the neck they were and how the culture was damaged by them. Experience has taught me the loss is never as bad as you imagine. Generally, team mates who were asking themselves "why are they putting up with this guy" will step up their performance to compensate.

You seriously think they weren't told to leave? Jesus christ dude lol

Honestly I don’t know and neither do you. I just know the team has no cared at all the past three games going back to last year.

Something is wrong in that locker room.

The guy I referenced earlier... "volunteered" to leave. I met with him and told him he could choose how his time with the company ended but we had reached the end of his road.

I kid. I kid.
He's obviously more enamored of GA State than of his own (former) team.
So, it would be a bit of poetic justice for him to transfer to GSU (and fail to make lineup, of course).
Therein lies the joke.

It's coach Pruitt's players versus Jones's players. Coach Pruitt is playing more underclassmen, that he recruited, than Jones washouts that belong at an FCS school. There's going to be friction until he gets the entire roster flipped, which should be completed next year, with the exception of a very few players.
