He decommitted from alaBubba and took some time to think things over.

He and his mom both really like Pruitt.

He knows he'll probably get instant playing time and that's important to all players.

He hung with Bama as long as he did because his mom told him to be a man and honor his word to alaBummer but he knew he wasn't going to be happy there.

He now says he's 100% committed to Tennessee so I tend to believe he's all Vol.

This is indeed a huge get and a big BOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!

This is a HUGE pickup imho. Has the potential to be an elite edge rusher which is what we greatly need going forward. Great job by JP and staff to reel this kid in and get him away from Bama.

coming out of HS last year, he was a rivals top 100 player, 4*, and he SIGNED w/Bama. and after a year of JUCO, he recommitted to Bama last month. Decommitted early Nov. and now committed here.

I love seeing that CJP is recruiting this kind of talent and is looking ahead to 2020. That is the sing of a good recruiting coach. With that said, he is already building a great 2019 class based on star value, and that doesn't even take in consideration the hidden gems that he will recruit as a good fit for our system and the player development that he clearly has a nack for. Things are looking up boys!!

Great news. I’ll boom when he signs his LOI. I’ll boom again when he shows up and plays up to his billing. It looks like the CJP trend is up. Recruiting great student athletes appears to be a follow the leader or stay closer to home thing so hoping this will attract more excellent student athletes.
