No QB for this class. The taller corners statement makes Tee Shephard look like a guy we will continie to go after hard.

Of course we will have some decommits. This is not unusual. We will also get a couple of kids that were committed to go elsewhere. These are 17 and 18 year old kids. They run out to buy the new Miley Cyrus 8 track when it hits the record stores

I think we get 1-2 decommits with the obvious one as Kameel Jackson who isn't on his JUCO team, but even if he's in I think we still lose 1-3. From there maybe 1 greyshirt, but maybe not. Of those 1-4 spots, lets say 3 get open. That puts us at 23.

I'd say we get these 7 to fill out the class:
Hendrix
Mosley
Berry
Berry
Pearson
Malone
JUCO DT (Reed, McDowdell,

and we find room if Garrett or Jackson want in, but Jackson is a longshot and we are behind LSU for Garrett. I also think you find room for Scott at RB and Genessy/Bookser at OT but those are also farfetched IMO. Never doubt Butch though.

For my money I would take:
Pearson
Malone
Hendrix
Moseley

Would love to Grey shirt Dews and Emmanuel Moseley and take the berrys but if we can't then we can't.

If Jackson or Garrett want on you cannot deny them. Would make room with Charles Mosley probably. Would take Akeem Judd in a heartbeat as well.

All great players btw. Would love to add any of them and our class is going to be gross

Agree and they might not all be to go elsewhere. A few have large academic concerns, specifically Kameel Jackson and Gavin Bryant. Also some guys have ties to other schools, but they seem solid at the moment (Raulerson's dad played FB at UF, Barnett's grandfather played FB at OSU, Weatherd's mom played BB at TAMU, might be forgetting one). Then there's decommitments who are afraid of competition. We've already lost a few to that boat IMO.

8 track? Really? Man I thought I was old. Course my current vintage Corvette has a tube type AM radio that even works..........

i always envied the size of the secondaries for texas, nebraska, osu, and old florida.

never understood the philosophy that shorter is faster is quicker. simply put why not have tall and fast corners? safety i think we could get 10 lbs heavier, but all that can be fixed in the weight room.

These are the 2 I was thinking will be gone by NSD. Raulerson may not be with us either if we land another higher rated OLineman. As we all know by now, the Berry Brothers will be walk-ons.:) EB's 4 year donation.

Ha. I hope and think we keep Raulerson. He's the only G we have this class and seems to be the only one we are going to take...

No he's a solid commit IMO. I pointed out his father played at UF and it brought some talk up, probably shouldn't have because now the sunshine pumpers will flame away. That was probably my fault.

I think he signs with us and enrolls in Jan.

I also see our commitment list changing up quite a bit from now till Signing day. We aren't going to get all these guys but If we can pull out a big win tomorrow. Look out!!!

We have a ton of momentum right now. If that happens I do think Butch has something up his sleve. I am not sure if a couple these legacy guys pay their way or what but I can't see him not having some big commitments going down the streach.

Recruiting is the key and Butch can recruit his ass off!!! GBO!!!

I think Kameel gets dropped and Bryant is our most likely decommit (nothing against him, that just seems to often be the case with Alabama guys.) I'm not sure they grey shirt Paulk, a red shirt makes more sense as long as the ACL injury isn't exceptionally nasty.

I'm not huge on the idea of trying to grey shirt Emmanuel Moseley he's a scholarship athlete IMO. I could understand if they wanted to grey hurt Dews because of his age, but I think he'll get a scholarship too unless Clifton Garret commits to Butch.

If we only lose Jackson, I think our final 5 are:

Eliot Berry
Evan Berry
Dewayne Hendrix
JUCO DT (McDowdell, Lamin, or Reed)
Josh Malone.

If we miss on any of those guys, I think Cory Thomas/ Charles Mosley is the next guy up.

That should deserve the biggest "brick" if Eric Berry would even pay for the first year to save a couple of scholarships for this year!
