Get on the wagon or gtfo. We already have plenty of negativity around here.

Wow. Ok, been a fan since early 70s listening to John Ward with my parents. Graduated class of 90. So yes, as a lifelong fan and graduate I do consider it my university, as in, the school I support and follow.

When we have a decent team, I'll have a decent attitude about them.

As soon as there is something to be positive about with this program, I'll be positive. If we get Bell tomorrow that will definitely be positive. However, I will never be blindly optimistic. I will always point out the reality of things, whether they are good or bad.

I sure hope you are right, because if it's just a "spin" type of a move (i.e., releasing this to try and gain some late momentum) and we fizzle, this pic could be captioned a lot of ways to make us look bad lol

Could be, but you know what? That is one thing I really like about Jones. He is going to get some momentum going through sheer force of personal will. He is already doing it, and he is not going to stop.

getting vonn bell is freaking huge and you should focus on who you get not lamenting who you haven't imo. this is just the first class with short amount of time.. to be able to get vonn bell if really amazing.

Where CBJ has missed IMO: OL, LB, and DL. An elite RB would have been nice, but I think we can make do with who we have. Hopefully there will be some surprises tomorrow to change my opinion, but right now we are lacking serious depth at the three positions I listed.

Take it as negativity if you want, I call it reality. And no, I'm not blaming CBJ entirely. Certainly Dooley whiffing on OL last year is big when it comes to OL depth, but it was still something to be addressed in this class. Most of the OL commits are projects. That could hurt us in the future.

Star power doesn't worry me. It's missing on positions of need. And seeing teams like Auburn(same position with a new HC and a horrible record last year) and Ole Miss(wth is up with that?) out-recruit us has me worried.

You do realize that this coaching is actually able to teach and coach up players right?? For the time CBJ and staff had he did great!!
