Jones better than Pruitt From Athlon ask the coaches

This is a coach getting out recruited by Pruitt right now who’s trying to throw shade. He doesn’t really believe what he’s saying, and took the opportunity to attack when he knew it would be anonymous. I suspect it’s a coach who will out of the league in a couple of years...
I was literally about to post the same conclusion!
This is coming from a coach who knows Pruitt is gaining traction with the type of players they, themselves are recruiting and is hoping to downplay any momentum Pruitts program is gaining. The fact that “anonymous” called him Jeremy, stinks of Curley Smart down in jawga.
GBO!!

I think it's nonsense... However JP is staring down a schedule that could easily end up 5-5 if we have the same poor QB play we've seen. Hopefully that doesn't happen but that would be a tough pill to swallow in year 3
You are correct that CJP could be staring down a 5-5 record in year three whereas the previous coach won 8 regular season games in his 3rd year playing a 12 game schedule . Three of those wins were against Bowling Green, Western Carolina & North Texas. I certainly hope that IF (big if there too ) The Big Orange get to play all 10 games this season in an SEC only schedule they achieve a better mark than .500. If they do I think that most reasonable fans would give CJP & the team a pass for the fact that they played a brutal schedule under less than ideal circumstances. If they win 4 or less Pruitt will have some questions to answer and changes to make and rightfully so. Personally I see 6-4 as the most likely outcome with 7-3 most likely being the ceiling .

Hypothetically speaking if you took away the 2 best OOC wins from the previous coaches 3rd year of BGU & WCU and replaced them with Auburn & A&M that you would add 2 losses to the ‘15 record. If we do finish 5-5 this year I still like our chances going into year 4 with CJP as opposed to the last guy and as it stands in this moment it’s not even close .

Well, he has a point. Butch built champions of life with great eye discipline and five star hearts. Much better carnival barker than Pruitt.

Dont forget all those meaningful leadership reps and the resilient manner in which they were achieved .

If anything, I think defense will bail out the poor QB play if we have it this year.

Definitely good for a laugh. Incidentally, if it were true, it would reinforce what an utter POS Jones is for continuing to milk his buyout and not even attempting to get a real job.

Butch made us do stuff like this.....

***I took me a bit to believe in Pruitt but I officially changed my mind during the ga game last year. I didn't see any quit in the team, especially compared to any of Butch's squads. I'm glad we've got CJP. We're going to surprise people this year.

8-2 & SEC East Champions

I really believe if we can get good qb play we can compete with any team; but not with the type of qb play we have had. I think the rest of the roster is very good.

Butch did beat Florida and end that long losing streak he also beat Georgia twice. When will Pruitt beat them?

QB keeper with Justin Worley

0-8 first time in SEC Conference play

Underutilized a future NFL star in Kamara.

Yep, sounds like he’s a lot better than Pruitt....
He was 0-6 his last year Brady Hoke was interim coach for the LSU and Vandy losses
