Jonathan Kongbo???

He had solid pass rush a couple of plays. He also lined up at DT on some 3rd down plays. He looks like a force, there's one play where he fights off a double team to still generate a pass rush.

Played in his first college game ever.. He may be great someday but Id be shocked if it was this year.. Only been playing organized ball for 3 years and 2 of those were in 3a High School

Yeah he played. He is learning. Looked a little confused which wasn't unexpected. Physically looks great. Once he gets coached up a little more, he will be fine.

I believe your facts need a serious re-check.

According to what I read, he played 6 game his senior year at a HS in Canada. Before he only played basketball. 3A ball down here might be advanced to what he played up there and that is barely over half a season.

Went to Wyoming, where he used his redshirt year. Sure he practiced, but zero games played.

Played last year at a JUCO in Arizona. Believe it was the same one DeAndre Payne ended up at. I assume Kongbo played in all ten games. But his resume is thinner than you thought.

That being said, he was hustling the other night. He played hungry, no doubt. So, I will be shocked if he doesn't make an impact this year. Just depends on how fast he learns and stays focused.

People think that every player that comes here in thier first game must blow it up or they suck. I don't get it. Manning sucked his entire freshman year

Yeah, but Kongbo has been very hyped up, and a little bit by himself. So this is far from the garden variety expectations. So, a few are forced to keep it real for the many.

I also chat with fans of Australian rules football. Now, those people are freaking crazy, but compared to Vols fans? They actually make sense.

So what, he didn't have any blown assignments and is a pass rushing guy. We just played a cut blocking run option team. What are you "keeping real"

I hope he does well but I never get too hyped over JUCO guys. Maybe he'll be an exception

He made the pressure on the 3rd down when Cam got the pick. He pushed the pocket in on the QB.
