Wow there’s so much to unpack... First, your absolutely hatred of ppl disagreeing with you and how angry it made you to try to defend your argument. But we don’t have time to go in to that and, personally, I don’t care at this point.
Secondly, your entire argument completely overlooks many well established facts. First of them being the schemes that Kongbo played in since he’s been here. Are you going to come to the defense of the coaching staffs that he was learning from? Secondly, is he the first undersized tweeter you’ve ever run across? I hate to tell you this but the entire NFL is overrun with players of his size that are these tweeners you talk about. And lastly how can I say this where you’ll understand: Justin Coleman was a CORNERBACK. Covering DBs is an IMPORTANT role. MAYBE if I capitalize EVERY other WORD you’ll BE able TO get IT! And seriously please tell me CB who’s contributed to more highlight films? The rest of your statements concerning him could literally apply to ANYBODY including KONGBO. Perhaps with COACHING a player like KONGBO can FLOURISH.
But at the end of the day I don’t have any stock in his success other than wanting to see him succeed. If it makes you feel better, I hope you are right and he doesn’t get a chance. Maybe then you’ll get you PhD in internet college football analysis.
Evidently, my comments about Kongbo playing like Jane struck a nerve in your defective synapses and you obviously felt the need to tell me that I was wrong. Remember, I didn't ask for your opinion. I certainly can take it when people tell me that I'm wrong when they present LOGICAL and FACTUAL information. You did neither...and I called you on our BS. And now you can't take it--typical snowflake. And Coleman played most of his career as the Nickel DB.....for your information, the Nickel is basically a 3rd SAFETY....
Most on this board AGREE that Kongbo has EXTREMELY under-performed ever since he has been a Vol. Why can't you just acknowledge those facts? The film of his performances just doesn't lie. Go back and actually watch some of it-- "the big eye just don't lie!"
Furthermore--your acknowledgement of Coleman's success in the NFL should've been enough evidence to make you reconsider your prior opinion of him and
to admit that you were WRONG in your assessment about his ability to play DB--but that's something you snowflake millennials just cannot do!
None of you are EVER wrong about anything....and you want to discuss everything ad nauseam in order to find a way to camouflage the fact that you're wrong. One big group discussion where everybody can share their own opinion and NO ONE is ever exposed for being wrong in their thinking. That's YOUR problem, NOT MINE!
Your assessment of Kongbo is the same--WRONG. You don't have a damned clue about how to evaluate his play in order to understand exactly WHY he doesn't have the talent to make it in the NFL. And then you do what all educated snowflake millennials do and BLAME someone else--his coaches. That's just weak!
Kongbo is weak with his hands, he is slow to recognize how the OL is attacking him, he gets himself "caved inside" too much in the run game, he doesn't demonstrate any ability to play with leverage, he cannot shed blocks, etc...etc...etc... It's all there on the films if you actually knew what you were looking at! And he's been tried now at several position on the DL----DT, DE, and OLB in a 3-4. He just couldn't get it done at any position in any scheme.
And for the record, I was extremely wrong in my assessment of KMac. I thought he'd be a beast in the SEC at DT based on watching his 1 on 1s in all of those all-star camps before he got to UT. And the reason why was his LOWER BODY and how he used his hands.
Please just put me on ignore. It will be a good thing to preserve your mental health just in case you've run out of "mental health" recovery days at work.
