Come on guy's we are talking about a student athlete here. Let's calm down with the personal attacks. Yes he is pretty much stinking it up at QB...I agree he might need to sit and watch next week (along with our OC).

i agree This is redneck garbage.
I think he should have been benched in the 2nd half of the UF game but dont resort to this.
He isnt doing bad on purpose he just isnt all that good. Go after fulmer not the kid.
I have children and it would kill me if someone did something like this to my kid.

I have kids too. And if mine saw this after a poor performance, they'd laugh it off and try to get better for next week. It's harmless fun. How else are we supposed to vent?

I agree. The kid probably feels horrible for getting Phil fired, we should let off of him. But that O coordinator...wow...kiss my :shaking2:

Tell me who else we are supposed to blame? I am sick and tired of every one blaming Fulmer for the mistakes our quarterback makes. HE CANNOT COMPLETE A HANDOFF!! he should be a leader, but instead he blames everyone else for his mistakes instead of taking responsibility. This is the "student" I am not calling him an athlete. The same student who said he does not watch the news, read a newspaper, listen to the radio, or get on the internet during the football season, the only information he gets is from the coaches and staff. So he is not going to get his fragile feeling hurt, I promise. I am beginning to think he has dirt on someone. There is no excuse for his arrogant attitude considering the level of play he brings to the field. HE THINKS HE IS DOING A GOOD JOB. The same student when asked who he would try to compare himself to peyton, shuler, tee martin etc, said "Jonathon Crompton. I don't want to be the next Peyton Manning. I want to be the first Jonathon Crompton." I am pissed that it is the fourth game of the year before we open up the QB competition. He was handed the starting job when Eric left the field in tampa. Was never a question.

The defense played well enough today to win. They held Auburn to 7 points. Our special teams looked better, good punt coverage, Lincoln was accurate. But how many catches did Warren have? Why were these some of the best recievers in the conference, but they cannot catch a cold this year. What is different? Only Crompton. You have guys with hardly no stats to look at. Josh Briscoe made his fourth catch of the year!! FOURTH CATCH! When you catch it on the second bounce to you, they don't count that. He nearly put some poor woman in the third row's eye out with one of his well targeted passes. Did we even have a pass for more than ten yards.

Don't give me this student athlete crap. I work for a living. Work hard, and donate money to VASF, support my local alumni organization, do all I can to support my team and my school. So yes I have a vested intrest. I am PAYING FOR THIS STUDENT ATHLETE TO MAKE MY BELOVED TEAM THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE NATION. But remember he doesn't care what we think, he doesn't play for us, he plays for himself!!!!

I just walked in the door from the trip to Auburn, I was going to just look on here and see what everyone else was feeling. But I am sick of everyone acting like Crompton does not have to be accountable for HIS MISTAKES THAT KEEP LOSING GAMES! The only thing, the only thing you can blame the coaches for, is not BENCHING his talentless butt.
