1. just 1 game ...like i said i'll get back with you in 3 years on how lane is doing ...everyone has growing paints

2. gerald jones shouldn't have been on the field he ran bad routes and was hurt

3. Our defense was amazing monte deserves the game ball ... they were out there all the time and shut ucla down ...

Stephens is our only hope!Crompton is the worst starting QB I've ever seen.Tennessee should have won this game today if Cropton just played fair but he didnt,he played awful.It makes me leery of Kiffin now as a play caller and coach.If Stephens had played the 2nd half I believe we would have won!!It will be a total beatdown at Florida!

I agree. I think we as fans got too high after last week and got a false sense of how good this team is right now. Tennessee has some talent, but they aren't as good as we thought they were.

I have been on the Lane train from day one, and I still am, but I thought his play calling was just as bad as Crompton played.

Crompton gets a half at Florida to get his act together.

One bad game will not get him benched. He will get a chance to redeem himself but he is on thin ice.

If the pattern continues into next game, Stephens will get some play time against Florida.

Crompton's terrible--not Div. I quality---how he got a scholarship, I do not know.

I waited so long to see this kid play & to have him suck so badly :cray: I remember one his big name to fame in high school was "he had not been brought down by a single tackler in two years". Were the teams in his area that bad ?

The issue is crompton is not consistent! You never know what you get with him, one day he plays well, the next he grenades into a pile of sh**

you are a complete fake a hole fan. praise them like they can win the nc last week and now curse them cause they loose a close game. are there areas to improve? of course, but i for one refuse to boo or bad mouth any of the guys no matter how they played.

How can I believe that we are seriously short of major cfb talent? With a bad-side-of-average qb we win this game. Crompton single-handedly lost this game...period.

With the offense the Gators have and players they have if we have a bad half they will be so far up on us we won't catch us. We need Crompton pulled and Stevens in NOW

He's a senior, dude. He was terribly last year. His problems have nothing to do with "one game." Crompton isn't the only problem--Sullins was abused (Price blew past him to pressure our qb on the last series, our WRs can't get open and can't catch--but he's the Biggest problem. How is it that Crompton and Jones have no freakin' idea what they're doing after playing together for two years? Amazing...That last series was pathetic...

I can't in good conscience blame kiffin for 4 interceptions thrown by crompton. Crompton was late in getting the ball out, staring down his targets so a middle school safety could have guessed where he was going, breaking the cardinal rule of throwing across the field and didn't make hardly any of his progressions. His arm looked weak when it had to be strong, he missed open guys in favor or double or triple covered guys. This was an exact copy of himself last year.

I'm pretty new on this board and you all do not know me very well, but some you "Fans" on here make me sicker than the Vols did today. I agree Crompton sucked and some of the play calling was bad but you all act like we were supposed to when a national championship this year with a new coaching staff and a bunch of freshman, come on now, seriously, I think alot of people got their hopes up way to much. Everyone should just calm down and take a deep breath, enjoy football season while it is here. I want to win just as bad as everyone else but in a way I'm kind of glad we lost i know it sounds weird but maybe it will bring everyone back down to earth.

i would say that running the ball more and taking it out of cromptons hands would have won us this game but without holes to run through it wouldnt do much good. The loss was dissappointing, but it is a very early season and our coaching staff is not about to let these guys quit. Put nick in and let him MANAGE the game thats all we need and after this game cromptons definitely not a guy that can MANAGE the game. Make the adjustment and lets get better this season and win some games

Crompton sucked this game and I think the reason is him trying to get the ball to jones the whole game instead of spreading it out like he did last week. That has been his problem for the past two years he has his favorite and he forces the throws. Bench him if he don't try other recievers.

I can't go through another game with Cromptom at the helm, bench him now! He was just throwing the ball to where he thought the recievers were, he wasn't even looking at the defense!
