How can you blame Kiffin for 3 interceptions. The only mistake Kiffin made is not benching Crompton on his 2nd pick. He is a joke. The worst QB the Vols have ever have.

I for one thought that this new coaching staff was going to put the best players on the field. This game looked just like all of last year under Fulmer. Jonathan Crompton should not have been benched. I just don't understand playing someone that can not compete at a high level.

Before anyone says its one game, that was a five interception game.

Thats a half season's worth, complete with no td's.
That is pathetic. It wasn't the line, the backs, anything. He throws garbage footballs. ALL the time.

I've been pulling for this kid to get his act together as long as anybody. JC has had more chances than anyone int he business world that would have been fired 10 times over with this kind of performance. JC single handedly cost us this game today and is a total lost cause. He has too many demons in his head and just can't get it done.

Get Nick in the game and lets win some football games!!

Quick analysis:

We just don't have a quarterback.

The defense was continuously put in bad position but played great.

Offensive line play was mediocre to atrocious. Sullins spent most of the day getting blown up. Crompton... enough said.

Don't even wanna contemplate what's gonna happen next week.

I love how the typo in the first sentence spells int. I swear JC is UCLA's best player.

There is a ton of blame to go around. Crompton for throwing picks. O line for not blocking a damn person and Kiffin for calling a terrible game.

I dont understand what this kid is thinking out there. How does a standout in highschool, sets many records in NC highschool football, and be recruited by every big school, suck so bad. I agree he has had his chances, get him out and Nick in he cant do anyworse. Today made me sick the way he played. Props to Monte he made the D step up and give us a chance.

TJ Leifheit may have liked it because he knows that he could have walked on the field as a high school player and done better than Sullins.

Here is the bottom line, Jonathan Crompton absolutely sucks so miserably that many fans will not go to another game this season if he is not replaced as the starter.

Game simply showed we are seriously short of major college football talent. There are holes all over the place that must be addressed, without anyone to fill them I'm afraid. One thing, we must recruit some OL to compete.

the year is not over with...at least we have coaches who actually coach and can capitalize from the mistakes. this loss was disapointing, but at least they didn't give up like last year. next week will be tough.

hey, u guys were saying Crompton would throw for 400 yards and 4 TDs only days ago. so if you're going to give props to him when he wins, you better support him when he loses.

and congrats to a good game. it was a hard fought victory and someone had to come out on top. the season is young, time to wreak havoc!
