Im glad he's ok. Cromdaddy is a bigger man than any of us on here. I wish him the best of luck and hopefully he can make a living playing ball somewhere.

I agree. I would love to see how some of his bashers on here would deal with death threats from complete strangers over a college football game in which you were competing and putting your best effort on the field.

Their D Coordinator kicked our tail in.

V Tech out manned us, out hustled us, out schemed us. THey looked like a top 10 team and deserve to be in the top 10.

My hat's off to Beamer and Co for an excellent game plan.

Hold up there, hoss. You guys didn't quit, and you are rightfully calling out the fans who are saying Crompton should have taken a knee. You should be proud of your team for not quitting, but you also shouldn't blame us for not quitting either. If you're gonna pass, we're gonna blitz. Both teams played to the last down, like it should be. That being said, I hope Crompton has a speedy and full recovery.

I ran into only one classless Hokie fan all week. My fiancee's ex husband decided to call the house and try to give me crap about the game. My fiancee answered the phone and made him aware of his role, and hung up before I could tell him how me and his ex wife were going to "ring in the new year" hehe.

The things I would have said to this clown would have made him commit suicide, there is no doubt in my mind!

But other than the dude who has nothing better to do on New Years eve, most of the Hokie fans were classy!

I called my uncle as the clock his triple zero and played the VT fight song over the phone, but the two of us have gone back and forth for YEARS and it's all in good fun.

There's no reason to be a jerk or a crybaby about what happens when a bunch of 18-23 year old college kids play football.

Crompton has been through more than any UT QB has ever been through and always kept his head up and worked hard. He has made some bad throws and reads, but he also made some great throws and plays. He had us in position to beat Bama with one of the best throws I have seen all season. Not his fault we could not kick the FG. The season would have been totally different if that kick had been made. Not his fault for dropped passes to wide open recievers. Get well soon Crompton and best of luck in the future. Thanks for representing the BIG ORANGE with class.

He really had a turn around this year, and it was good to see

Wish it had turned out differently against VT

Getting whipped like that, makes for a long off season

Beamer ball is Beamer ball and it is not always humane. JC, Hardesty and Berry really played well and have nothing to be ashamed of. We would not have been at the game had it now been for them and we should all be so thankful and proud....Next year will be awesome...I feel it in my aged bones.
