From everything we have heard , it's the boosters who want the change and not Hart. I can believe that. I don't think he wants to make a change , but will be forced to if things don't change quickly.

I don't think Sunseri would be here if Hart was actually sold on Dooley.

I get what you are saying. Maybe it's what he is saying to Dooley , but knows what he is going to have to do. It's all speculation , but something is going on. I just hope he doesn't bring anyone else from Alabama up here to coach this team.

It's actually the opposite. We will see who has better sources in a few weeks.

So , do you have any idea who the unknown name DTO is talking about? I know you say it doesn't matter because there is only one. But you said you knew the list. I'm just wondering who it is.

I don't follow the reasoning here. Are you saying Wilcox left, at least partially because Hart wasn't vouching for Dooley? Even if Hart convinced Wilcox he was 100% behind Dooley at the time, Wilcox would have known that could quickly change with more bad Ls.

So, your sources include connections to both the UT and Arky athletics departments?

I think that, on some level, you're just making educated guesses at the very least. I doubt both schools have a done deal with a coach. But, like others said, I hope your posts are correct.

I have only an idea with arky. I do know they won't be getting Gruden. I never said Davis to arky was a done deal. I just said they will be getting butch Davis.

They're getting butch Davis.

Given the tone of the rest of your posts in this thread, it is difficult for me to interpret the above post as anything other than a declaration of a done deal.

Basically, your tone regarding the two coaching searches has been the same - a consistent tone of absolution that is sometimes cryptic. It's difficult to tell the difference between an idea and insider information in your posts.

A lot of people have ideas in this thread.

That said, I do enjoy your posts. Carry on.

This thread reads more and more like a soap opera everyday, truth is no one "really" knows how it is going to turn out.

A good soap opera name: As the coaching carousel name turns, these to are nothing more than speculation.

Truth of the matter is if there was any truth to any of this why hasn't any reporters went viral about this? This kind of news would have blown up all over Knoxville by now if it had any legs to it whatsoever. The reason it hasn't went viral is because it is all rumors with no foundation, thats why.

Back in 2008 before it was ever announced the media was all over the news about Phil being terminated that year. I have seen nothing remotely even close to the same type of reporting concerning DD and any replacements.

Soap opera? Well, on second thought, you have been a little melodramatic....:)

Mike Hamilton isn't our AD anymore. That may account for the difference in the situation. Just a thought.

Hamilton may be gone but the media is still in full effect and reporting something of this nature had any truth to it, they would be all over it like a rat on a cheeto.

Jimmy Hyams says, "Huh?".

Hyams has been after DD since he walked on campus, that is nothing new.
I think you may have missed my point. Gruden would have to coach here at least half a season before Hyams reports the Dooley firing. Jimmy is notoriously late to the party on info.
