Agreed, last 3 games should be about Fulmer and sending him out the best way the fans can. Let the AD worry about convincing Gruden that he's the man for UT.

One thing I have not heard and that's Gruden saying he IS NOT interested.

Even if he had contract ready with us he will say not interested until bucs are not in playoff contention

Met a lotta picky women but never one that didn't like to be pursued. I think coaches share this, I agree I think Gruden would sit back in a chair and smile if he saw all the we want chucky posts.

You are probably going to watch them play right into the playoffs and win a game or two this season. Which means that Gruden will be in the NFL and not the SEC.

How do we know that his wife wants to live closer? That is purely speculation. They have enough money that if his wife wanted to be closer, they could build them a house next door.

It is funny that the Tennessee football's future could be down to the should of a lady, who sleeps in the same bed with Coach Gruden.

I thought the Bucs having a bye this weekend after I heard Gruden is suppose to be in Knoxville was very intresting. I would personally rather have Cowher, but I think Gruden could bring discipline back to the program as well.

John Gruden would be a great, great choice! There is no reason to think Gruden wouldn't be tired of coaching the Buccaneers, and in the NFC South.

UT in the SEC is a lot bigger than coaching the BUCS in that division.

Maybe Gruden went to Tampa Bay because he thought the Buccaneers still wore Orange!

So GRUDEN comes to UT for the ORANGE FINALLY!

you're crazy if you think that competing for the super bowl and the accolades of the best in the nfl isn't better than coaching in the sec. i love sec football, but if i were a player or coach, it would be hard not to want to be/stay in the nfl.

Seems like he has a good team going down in Tampa, yet the fans still hate him. Maybe he's just tired of the crap down there and wants a different challenge. Might be he wants to be in that rarefied fraternity that has both a SB ring and a NC ring.

There is nothing better in football than playing a big college football game on saturday late afternoon on SEC on CBS.
