Mike Leach
Bronco Mendenhall
Chris Peterson
Lane Kiffin
Will Muschamp
Butch Davis

Butch Davis is 57 and is busy building a program at UNC,if he leaves it wouldn't be wise.
Kiffin is going to Syracuse without a doubt.
Peterson is an overrated coach, probably headed to UW
Muschamp????
I still think Bronco would be the best hire out of the bunch, guy is classy, tough, and can bring back discipline in the program by not recruiting the fools that Fulmer recruited solely on their talent rather than their common sense.
Peterson beat OK in the Fiesta Bowl, but OK has lost 4 of its last 5 bowl games.Petterson being overated is the craziest thing I have heard. The man has only lost like 3 games in 3 years and has beaten OK in the Fiesta bowl, the man is impressive.
In a very weak conference 5-2 in the NFC SOUTH. How does that translate to the SEC? You usually dont win SEC championships with that Plus they still have half a season to go and are second in their division.
Yes I'll concede he is a good NFL coach, took Raiders to Super Bowl and then won it with Dungys team, but does that really make a case for him as our coach?
Clay Travis who's writing a book on the Vols season (traveling with the team) puts Gruden at the top of the list (heard on WJOX interview this afternoon). Not sure what his source is but he claims the Gruden talk is real.
