While I fully understand that Gruden coming to UT is a very very very long shot, I do want to consider "what if".
How would that work if we did lure him to UT, yet TB ends up in the playoffs.... wouldn't that end up hurting our recruiting in the long run? What would be the logistics of such a change?

The last time his name was brought up on 104.5 the zone in Nashville , Frank Wychek said that his offense is really complicated . We are having problems with Clawson's O , so if it is any harder we will have to be 3 deep at punter . If he has to punt more than we do this year his leg would fall off.![]()
Please do not wish for him as coach. Yes he won a Super Bowl, but with a team Tony Dungy put together!
Oh God pray hard that he isn't lured to the Hill. Just think No one has put together a team he can take over and win with! JUST LOOK AT US! JUST SAY NO TO GRUDEN PLEASE!!!!
just keep ignoring what he did with the Raiders and what he's still doing
In a very weak conference 5-2 in the NFC SOUTH. How does that translate to the SEC? You usually dont win SEC championships with that Plus they still have half a season to go and are second in their division.
Yes I'll concede he is a good NFL coach, took Raiders to Super Bowl and then won it with Dungys team, but does that really make a case for him as our coach?

A guy that didn't sniff the kind of success Gruden is having in the league is the best coach in the SEC right now. A guy that was getting consideration for being in the same echelon as Bear Bryant and General Neyland went to the NFL a few years ago and was a miserable failure.
