I have it from good authority that Jon Gruden was seen on UT's campus today (about two hours ago) with his wife - yes the one that has family in town, owns land nearby and was once a UT cheerleader.

I have no idea why he was here... but who wants to start speculating???

Let the good times roll....

Obviously Hamilton is about to resign. Dooley is moving into the AD job and Gruden is taking over the football program.

He has 2 of the 3 prerequisites for becoming a coach at his dream job. Family in the area and owns land. Its happening.

you guys have it all wrong..... Bruce is going to resign, and Pat is going to take over the men's BB team, and Dooley is taking over the women BB team, and Gruden will be the next FB coach.... geeesh get youself an insider man

There are a blue million reasons why he would be the HFC at UT.
FIRST off - HE ALREADY OWNS LAND HERE!!! Do you know how BIG that is? Seriously?
Second - HIS WIFE WAS A CHEERLEADER AT UT. This is HUGE!!! Close ties to the program.

Throw in the fact that he was a graduate assistant under Majors, and you have the next HFCATUTK.

THINK man. THINK. If Hamilton would open up the check book, he could pull him away from the Bucs.
