Jon Gruden should be labeled as ‘enemy of Tennessee program, and a gutless coward’

If he knew half as much **** as he claimed he did about football...he would have been here to bail us out.

This is a straight up challenge for ANY MAN. And Gruden could have been a legend for the entirety of time that football exists.

Instead, the coward USED us like a damn primadonna high school chick addicted to likes on instagram and made us a JOKE.

He got his start here as a GA, and he pays us back LIKE THIS!?!?

Dude if you didn’t want the job—-just come out and say it months ago. Rather than giving us all hope, you gutless coward.

Instead he let a bartered and desperate program linger....and the result was a NATIONAL EMBARASSMENT by having to have the fanbase step up the prevent Currie from bringing in a coach none of us wanted.

I am so furious at Jon Gruden and his lack of honor...he should be banished from ever being able to enter The Volunteer State unless he agrees to be tarred and feathered for being the chicken **** he is.

He doesn’t know half the **** he claims....he’s a coward.

We would have opened the check book and paid anything. At least do us the respect of saying flat out rather than playing cat and mouse games.

This program is approaching DANGEROUS levels of how difficult it’s going to be to come back, and Jon Gruden dug the hole a little bit deeper.

Dishonorable.

Hire Tee Martin.

End rant.

Jon Gruden didn't do anything wrong, it was some "special" fans thinking he was actually a viable option to coach here. Never was gonna happen.

This is BOGUS.

Every sports related blog was giving the rumors momentum.

Even CBS SPORTS came out and said we were in talks with Gruden just before the hire of Schiano.

If Gruden had ANY honor he would have cut it off way earlier.

I don't even believe he was legitimately made a serious offer at this point. He could have been trying to court the AD to make him a serious offer, we may never fully know.

But I can easily believe that Schiano was the #1, #2, and #3 pick, and anybody else was just ticking a box off on a sheet.

That's how Hamilton did it, and we know Currie is Hamilton 2.0.

I didnt want him from the start so....

Well many of us did...and believed i. Him. He took us on a roller coaster where we really believed he’d be our coach for a Long portion of the search.

Inexcusable!!! People that aren’t pissed off are NOT PAYING attention.

Tennessee football is almost at the point of being irrecoverable and Gruden’s cat and mouse game made it THAT much harder for us.

Perhaps y’all arent big picture thinkers but that’s exactly what it was...

"Grumors" are nothing more than one portion of our fan base trolling another portion of our fan base.

Good idea. Might as well run off Peyton while we're at it. If we're going to burn this thing to the ground, let's do it right.

Dude. He doesn't owe you or the University anything. The fans clamoring for him to be HC are to blame here. Redirect your anger towards them.
