If we don't give him a 2nd chance it's because he's black & not his abysmal coaching record. So sick of this. The damn president is black let it go.

Who said anything about race? He could be related to Gen. Neyland for all I care. 4-21 at Colorado won't cut it.

That's what I'm saying. He was on tv crying about black coaches not getting a 2nd chance when his record was terrible. He had his chance & blew it but now these clowns on espn are crying about diversity & crap. Diversity is all good but they can't fathom that sometimes a black guy isn't the best guy for a job. If Sumlin or Strong or Shaw was fired after this season then they could cry all they want & might have an argument.

Thank you! I was going to create this thread but figured I would get blasted and didn't even feel like getting into it. To be fair, the guy had a lot of young players and was in his 2nd year (where have i heard this before lol) but it was the worst season in their history. Stephen A Smith is annoying too.

I agree. The guy said because he was black he wouldn't get a 2nd chance to be a head coach. The clowns on espn were doing their usual racism bit.

I say we hire Kent State coach. For him to lead his team to a top 25 ranking, can't be worse than what we had.

When Kentucky cost you your perfect season...something is obviously wrong there.

I agree. But his first year he went 5-7 and this year went 11-1. He obviously knows how to coach and think what could he do with better talent. Also that was the 2nd game of the year.

Saw Stephen A on sportscenter talking about it this morning. He was way off base imo. He was fired because he's a terrible coach, not because he's black. C'mon
