Another positive in bringing back Lane is that he knows the lay of the land. He could be up and running quickly and salvage the recruiting class for this year. Risky I know but we simply do not have any options.

I can’t imagine he hasn’t matured somewhat. Hopefully? I would welcome him. His return would fit perfectly in this sh/$ storm we call Tennessee football.

2015. In Tuscaloosa. With Butch and Dobbs and company. We lost 19-14. Bama scores with approximately 2 minutes to go ahead. We got it back with a chance to win. That was the last time we nearly beat Bama. But won’t add the “duh” for emphasis

As much as I hate to say it, Kiffin maybe the only one with enough self confidence to win here with UGA gaining traction and Florida hiring a very solid coach. No time for the timid.

Kiffin isn't too stubborn to change if necessary and his football IQ is well documented. Even if he has a couple bad seasons , I feel confident it would get fixed. Long term, I would feel as good about rehiring him as anyone else realistically available.
