I'm a fan.

I joke that no matter what you use to create a Pandora station you will eventually hear a Johnny Cash song. He transcends genres.

I always liked Johnny's gospel albums back in the 70's that were made back then. He & June put a "live" album out that was really good. I have that stuck in a drawer somewhere in the house.

My favorites by him are Back Home Again and Country Roads. Homegrown Tomatoes is good too.

Met him once when I was 13 his drummer WS Holland lived behind us in Jackson Tn. He was a very nice man liked to talk and very down to earth.

Johnny Cash transcends genres. He is even respected by those who have a diehard hatred for country music.

Speaking of classic country, I'm seeing Willie Nelson on the 30th. I'm quite pumped for that one!

He can barely sing anymore, though its still a fun time
