Does anyone have any audio of John Ward? Im looking for just some highlights of his broadcasting or anything really. Google returned no results.

Yeah that only has a few minutes though. Would love to have a clip of stumble and fumble and no sir ree.

yeah seriously we need something non gay like Chesney pretending to be a Vol fan with the background of Ward calls. I always wanted somebody to archive his games and have it on a page to download. I guess there use to be something out there but it dosent exist anymore.. Its a shame..

You should be able to buy a copy of the national title game he called . I know it was sold for a while after the game.

I know theres alot of people out there that recorded his games, all we have to do is start getting together a pipeline of Vol fans and share what we have and make a sweet archive of Ward broadcasts.

There is a CD out that is called Vol Network Greatest Play by Play Calls Volume 1 or something like that. Does anyone own that?

I actually have on cassette tape most if not the entire 98 season...because i knew it was his last...I will start going through them...no idea how i would get them on itunes from cassette though

I have every game from the '98 season on cassette tape and mini disc. I need a video copy of the 45-7 gator smackdown where Carter returns the 2nd half kickoff. Either 1990 or 1991. Not sure

I also have the entire 1998 season minus the Houston game which I really would like to have. Also many other games back to about '77. The NC game is a complete 5 hour covering pre and post game with no editting. All on cassette.

PS -from previous post- The calls on the Chesney thing, good as they are, pale in comparison to the basketball calls from the same era.

Would love to hear John come out of retirement and do one more football game. Nobody will ever do it better.

Boy I really miss him. "Give him six", will be forever etched in my memory. I remember the "pandemonium reins" after the 1998 victory over Florida. What a first class broadcaster.

I had the pleasure of meeting John this year at the spring game. He signed autographs for over an hour outside the stadium. We are blessed to have such an incredible person associated with the University of Tennessee.

I would love to have copies of those. Do you have the 82 bama game?---UT broke the 11 game streak--that has to be one of JW's best. 82 through 85 would be awesome.

I have tons of VOLS video on DVD and VHS. Almost every game since the early 90s. Would love to find some copies of older games that anyone would have. Anyone interested in doing some trading?
