John Kelly busting a move for the Rams

Except for that time he got caught with pot and had to miss a game. If he gave his all for UT he wouldn’t have broken the law and team rules by using pot. By doing so he put himself before the team imho.
What about all the times he didn’t get caught?

I honestly don’t understand everyone’s obsession with JK. He had about 3 solid games then packed it in. Why y’all so butt hurt

Watching him play in the GT and UF games he looked like a 1st rounder. As the wheels came off our season, then AK kinda disappeared into the woodwork. Honestly never seen a Vol RB that fought harder for every inch. Crazy.

Impressive run by the young man. Classy move by a few of his coaches and teammates to come off the sideline with some encouragement.

I wish we still had him, but he is where he needs to be.

I’m not good with acronyms, but you have eyes. And everyone in here with eyes could see. He was at UT during a tough time, but so were about 1000 other athletes since 2008. At least JK got his ticket though.
**meant to quote you fzj 80**

Some folks whiff on different things. You whiff on being a fan.

Wishd he ran like that at UT. Oh yeah, he did before he bailed both physically and mentally. Not a true VFL IMO. Not bc he left early, bc he didn’t give his all for Tennessee. Sorrynotsorry
JK looked good in a bunch of games here at Tennessee. We can’t get on him for leaving Tennessee. Too much uncertainty about our future. JK would have been more effective with an O line that could block, and more important a coaching staff that knew what they were doing. JK is proving already at the next level that Botch Jones mismanaged talent at Tennessee. There are games we could have won if the ball was handed to JK on the 2 yard line instead of throwing the same pass multiple times. JK did what he could for Tennessee under a coach that was in over his head. I’m glad to see him doing well in the nfl and representing Tennessee. Proud to call him a VFL! Go Vols!

I don't ever remember seeing an article or video of him being disrespectful or name-calling. the closest thing to that, that I can remember, was an interview where he was asked what he wanted it in the next coach and he said honesty and that he just wanted a coach to be real with him. JMO

Yet another example of why I freaking hate the read option offense. You have several guys come in at RB that are NFL talents and we can't give them the ball with a running start... or a lead blocker.
