The Brit version was very funny.

The American version had Drew Carey.

The difference in the funny between the two shows is like comparing apples to the most un-apple thing ever. Maybe it's like comparing apples to Drew Carey. All I can say for sure is that I won't be taking the taste test to verify.

If you were watching Whose Line for Drew Carey you were doing it wrong. The chemistry between Ryan, Colin (and Wayne, but Ryan and Colin are up there alone) and to a lesser extent Chip or Greg, was about as good as it gets for a "live" improv show.

Even the new episodes on the CW are good to great and as beautiful as Aisha Tyler is, she cannot host to save her life, let alone compared to Clive or Drew.
