I'm afraid of Currie hiring an idiot tool bag like Doeren as HC and then stepping down as AD so he'll no longer be held accountable for the mess he's gotten us in and tie the hands of whoever replaces him as AD.

There’s no effing way in hell he’s doing this by design. He’s been led astray by Poppa Jim. Thing is, Poppa Jim has Billions. Bahama John has his pee pee in his hand.

Did this to us with Bruce Weber. Hired that sack of crap, wouldn't fire that sack of crap, then ran off with his sack of crap still here.

As uninspiring as Doreen might be, it’s still light years better than Sciano.

Our AD just had a lazy search process (much like Butch had for OC last year, and Fulmer’s lazy search started this whole mess a decade ago).
We need some hungry, aggressive, go-getters on the Hill

Gosh that would be terrible...So, how did NCst do this year? Well let’s see....They beat;

- Florida State
- PITT
- Syracuse
- Louisville
- Boston College
- North Carolina
- Had Clemson on the ropes

Most likely scenario playing out right now is that Davenport is intentionally frustrating Currie's efforts to 1) convince him to resign (since she does not have the go ahead to fire him) and 2) bide time for herself as she works out her own play and contingencies in all of this. The second most likely scenario is that Currie is panicked and has basically made a deal with Sexton to scratch his back (get a bunch of his clients raises) if he will return the favor (convince someone to take this job). But, the idea that Currie is getting "revenge" in all of this gives Currie too much credit.

Currie’s “revenge” will be introducing the new coach and having the entire fan base say, “Wow!” He said from the beginning not to believe anything you see or hear unless it comes directly from him. How much has he said since then? All I’ve seen is a prepared statement that Schiano was one of the candidates.
