John Chavis recruiting

What is up with all of the Chavis talk lately? I know he was recently in Tennessee for an event, but doesn't he have another job? Lately, I have heard more from/about him than our current DC.

Recruiting at UT is easy....pretty rich coming from a guy rumored to be "lazy" on the recruiting trail while he coached here.

In the interest of full disclosure, I didn't watch the video or read the article.

We don't need Chavis. I bet if Fulmer ever got fired, Chavis would end up at some lower level college as their A.D. None of the big time programs will let him run their defense. Spurrier loves Chavis for letting him beat us all those seasons when he coached Florida....
We can definately get a better defensive co ordinator at U.T. than Chavis...

At no point during your rambling did you have so much as a valid point. We're all dumber for having to listen to that. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Seriously though, I don't understand the Chavis hate. He was a fantastic DC here, and he's been a fantastic DC at LSU. He loves TN, and all you can do is bad mouth him and Fulmer, 2 of the biggest VFL's you'll ever see

If it was sarcasm I appologize, I've listened to people bashing him and Fulmer for years now. Hell, there were Vol fans sitting near us at the game Sat that boo'd Fulmer when his name was called. I've never been so mad at fellow Vol fans in my life

Well said UT_Tix79... I do not understand all the hate-mongering toward Fulmer and Chavis either... any more than I understand the hate talk about Dooley. The only thing I hate is the Vols losing games that could have... and should have been won. ><>

Biggest loss from he whole Fulmer to Kiffin debacle was Chavis. I would give everything I have in savings ($74.56) to have him back as DC.
