Exactly right...

"Injuries deprived Florida of three of its best defensive players against LSU. Its starting quarterback and center also were out with injuries. But it somehow managed to beat a more talented LSU team on its home field.

When UT coach Butch Jones was asked about the East title that got away, he responded predictably. "We just want to be 1-0 each week," he said.

The Vols celebrate going 1-0. The Gators celebrate going to the SEC championship.
Jones delivers another catchphrase. Florida coach coach Jim McElwain delivers another divisional title."

We fired a national championship winning coach because he had 2 losing seasons in 14 years.......

perhaps we got we deserved....

This shows just how garbage Butch Jones is, if this is true.

He can't be fired fast enough.

Well Fulmer was getting worse. It is actually the administration fault. They are the worse at finding big time coaches. The worse! Boosters stink too!

Florida and Tennessee arent even in the same stratosphere when it comes to injuries.

I am so sick of still hearing about Philip fulmer! He's gone and when we did fire him it was about 4-5 years too late. (Losing record against spurrier, richt, tubervile, meyer, saban) Were you not watching us get left behind the rest of the sec?

It's a slightly valid point. But anybody with a brain knows that Florida is a good defense and LSU's offense sucks and got a coach fired this year. It wasn't exactly a great feat to keep them under 20 points.

Jesus people there is only one nick satan.....It simply is not fair to compare any coach in the country to this guy..... I know the SC loss was an embarrassment but we have had some great success this season and if you would stop acting like a 3 year old and step back and look at it as a whole you might see that we are getting better and you must give a coach an legit opportunity to implement his system and build a program. I will say that if we are not in the championship game and competing in the next couple of years its time to make a change but until that point comes stand up and support your program and support your coach. " this misery " i read on the board holds not a candle to the turd of dooley...... Is butch the answer... hell who knows???? but I will support him for the next couple of years to see if what he brings to the table has time to grow into a long term success. I can promise you that we are in a better situation now than we were after 3 years on dooley.

WE BEAT FLORIDA AND GEORGIA in the same damn season.... People please calm down...

Right, but here's the difference: UF has found a way to win games they shouldn't have won. They've done it repeatedly against UT & now are in the SEC CG for the 2nd year in a row.

Honest question: Give me 3 wins during Butch's 4 years where the team genuinely overachieved and won a game against a quality opponent they shouldn't have beaten?
