Joey Thinks the Offense Can Be a Lot Better

One vast improvement will be WRs catching more when the ball hits their hands
I remember all the reports from Fingers... there were an awful lot of balls hitting the ground during the spring and fall. I was hoping it was a short-term problem but it sure seems that's just what we are going to have this year.

We need Mike Matthews to really step up and be that guy we know he can be. Maybe Jalin Hyatt can start texting him "jugs machine" throughout the day.

Brazzell is already on that level obviously, just need Bray Stay and Mikey to take the next step. Kits too, yikes. He could get drafted if he can soften up those hands of stone.

How? Isn't Simpsons comp % really high?
About the same as Joey. Tad better. Simpson is at 69%, Joey is at 65%.

So if you feel too many Volunteer passes have been dropped, your Tide counterpart probably feels the same way about too many Simpson passes being dropped.

Go Vols!

I actually agree, and it is a good thing.

Great coaches always remind their teams after a win that their best game is still in front of them, not behind. Everybody on the offense has made mistakes. Heck, don't you think Joey and Kits want those two weird INTs back? Of course.

I like the attitude and knowing Joey wants to push the team to hit their potential.

How refreshing to hear this from our QB, vs a coach, huh? Joey is showing us that he could very much be headed for the NFL. He's not the most talented (yet), but he has leadership skills, positive attitude and the desire to put it all on the line. He'll probably have a better NFL career than Tim Tebow.
