Joey Pavia situation

Uh. Yeah he kinda has. Hes thrown 4 picks in the last 2 games, including 2 today against a pretty bad team.
He leads the sec and he wasn’t here for spring practice. We have the actual worst fans in the world. Just go watch some highlights from 2019/2020 and get back to reality.

Lol. OK. I aint bashing the kid, nor am ignoring the fact hes only been here since late May, but theres also no ignoring the fact that he played much better earlier in the season than he has these last few games too.

I feel like Oline play has regressed from the start of the season. Not saying the Oline is the fault for the Int’s, but there is correlation between being sped up and mistakes. The combination of gunslinger and being sped up is just looking for disaster.

If he comes back he will probably be on the short list for the Heisman. Words will not be able to explain the disappointment if he gets another year and bails in the portal for a bigger Payday

Need somebody else to take over. Im grateful to Joey for helping the team this year but the pics are rearing their head. Some very poor throws and we knew this was a possibility based on his stats coming in’s
Half of his Int's are absolutely on him and have been really bad. But 4-5 of them have been WR's or TE's tipping the ball or falling down when the ball was thrown. He really should only have 6 at the very most. The one's against Ala and OU are the ones we will remember because of the timing.

Doubtful. Joe may hold the ball too long and throw some bullets that are uncatchable but Joey A throws it to the wrong guys too often for the NFL. You'd better be Brett Favre talented if you're going to be that reckless with the ball.
How many of JA’s interceptions were off of his receiver’s hands? I remember 2 off of Kits and I’m pretty sure there is one more and maybe two

I'll go to my grave saying the pick 6 against Bama was the result of about 3 or 4 terrible playcalls in a row but otherwise I agree.

Some. His picks at App State were largely related to time pressure and the NFL can't tolerate a QB who throws recklessly under pressure.

He's a good college QB but I'm doubtful he's NFL ready and most QBs aren't, even those with great college careers. I might be wrong but nothing is worse in the NFL than turnovers.

Based on the current NIL situation, he should try to get the extra year, hit the portal and put himself up for auction. There are a lot of teams looking for a good field manager, accurate passer who can throw for 3,000 yards.

Joey got his extra year this year (2025) due to the Pavia law suit. There is a pending case in process that would give him a decision point if it went the players way. If it goes NCAA way, then no decision point. Having said that, doesn't expect him back in any case. JMO
I thought I read where Pavia won the case and can come back which would mean Joey can too.

The case for removing eligibility requirements for any juco play, has been rolled into other like cases as class action suits. It is in process but didn’t see what phase. No ruling yet.

A TE has hurt us with INTs the last two games.
