Joey one play away from being an average qb today

The head to heads should not count as two losses I hate that rule . Especially Georgia being lucky to win this year. We take care of business we will be good to go but that said Joey one play from being just another average Bol qb today.
A great college QB has an average game on the road, has no help from 4/5ths of his receivers, but leads the team to tie the game with two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Stop man. He was 24/40 for 335 1 TD 2 Int ran 7 times for 21 yards and TD. That's enough to ask of him. The INTs suck but we won against an SEC undefeated team. That's good.
The INT's I lay on Kitselman, not Aguilar. While the passes weren't perfect, he has to come up with those catches! Our WR's (besides Brazzell) and TE's did Aguilar no favors!

Aguilar has been incredible. You guys need to get a grip. We're 4-1 and have scored 40+ in every game.
Averaging 51 Points Per Game (in the 1st 5 Games of the Season) with a QB who arrived in July to a COMPLETELY NEW SYSTEM...

OP can...

And he was two plays (69 yard dropped TD pass to Mathews, and 59 yard TD offfensive PI robbery to Brazzle) away from 450+ yards, three TDs passing and additional running. Which would have been considered one of the best QB road performances in UT history.

And Kitselman's hands on a couple plays, and Staley's drops, especially that punt. I can't fault Joey for all the points MSU scored.

Exactly...one TD drop...those over the shoulder hangers are tougher than they look, but he definitely should have caught it....and CB's PI robbery makes me wonder if the refs are in the pocket of the Mafia

My thoughts exactly. No way Vols would've won yesterday with Im-a-leavin' at QB. šŸ˜Ž
Exactly. I love everything about Aguilar. Nobody is "on" every game. They're kids not machines. To my mind, he did something amazing yesterday. He helped get us through a Heupel "stinker" for the win. No easy task. Hooker didn't do it. Milton didn't do it. Nico certainly had no shot in doing it. To be 4-1 going into the bye week with all our injuries and the off/pre season drama is way better than I expected. Had a real shot at being undefeated, but hey, this is UT we're talkin' 'bout. The football gods, media, and refs all hate us.

He had all day to throw. That impressed me. I didn't have any preconceived notions about how good state's pass rush would be, maybe it's bad. I was kinda shocked to see the "Fire Heupel" crowd today saying we didn't win on the line of scrimmage. Some of it looked pretty darn good to me.

JA has 5 picks. How many have "actually" been picks? Kitz accounts for 2 today,Staley fell at UGA. Couple of throw up balls that acted as punts. Sure,he's got 5 but he's not misreading or putting the ball in harms way. He's damn near elite.
He's had probably 8-10 dropped balls that hit receivers/backs hands. A bomb yesterday where MM walks in for a TD. Could probably add 1-2 more TD and at least 150 more yards to his total.
I'm ecstatic with his play, game management and pocket awareness.
