I thought going into the game we would know pretty much what type of team we are win or lose against UGA since they probably have the best roster top to bottom on our schedule. You hate the outcome obviously, but the coaches along with players have to really like their chances against future opponents. Really stoked about what this team can do this year.

While we are clearly having some defensive issues, I think it is worth pointing out that Arion Carter currently leads the SEC in tackles and Joshua Josephs leads the SEC in sacks. We also lead the SEC as a team in sacks.

We have definitely been a bit of a feast or famine type defense thus far. A decent amount of that is to be expected with running the quick strike, high powered offense though, especially when you compound that extra strain on the defense from the quick turnarounds with depth issues due to injuries.

A miracle has to happen on defense before this team makes the SECCG. An I hope Joey A performs in his first road game in the SEC like UGAs QB did.

Probably the same way an unranked Georgia Tech team last year took the #2 ranked UGA team into OT.

I don't know if Ga Tech moved up to being a ranked team or not, but again they should have.

If you're the better team, at home, you don't lose. You don't even need to be in a position to squeak by on a walk-off field goal when you have one of the best home field advantages in the sport. When we came out with hair on fire and jumped on them 21-7 - that's when the rout should have been on. We aren't there yet. I'm ok with recognizing progress and appreciating how far we had to come to this point. But nothing about Saturday's result feels good, except the fact that we finally have a competent QB. Hopefully Josh fully trusts him now. The defense is not going to win games for us this year.

Imo never rely on your defense to win the game, go out and take it, play with a lead the same way you do if you are behind.

They won’t lose to Bama at home. Ole Miss is probably the most likely to clip them. GT who the hell knows, Georgia could kill them or they could win a close game.

Georgia Tech was a very good team last year when Haynes King was at QB and healthy. Without him they were kind of meh.
