He is a gamer, busted plays look more like opportunities with Joey vs oh heck here comes a loss of yards or the ball. Im glad the Vols have Joey this year. Hooker was almost the man-ning. Hooker was what the Vols needed then, Joey is what the Vols need now or similar

It's hard to tell because this team is so much better than the 2021 or 2022 teams. Especially at OL.

But my first instinct is that Joey is a better thrower of the football, while Hooker is the better overall player given his elite mobility. The offense just had a entirely different level with Hooker's running ability.

JA probably doesn't have the arm strength to get drafted early. And it's rare someone goes from a nobody at a small school 1 year before the draft to a 1st round pick without being an elite athlete like Josh Allen.

30 TDs 3 INTs, 27 TDs and 2 INTs. Hooker had the same number of INTs in 2 years that Joey has in 5 games. You can say the WRs dropped some but he throws high a lot. I like Joey, but he's not Hendon.

Different player, different skill sets. Hendon was a different type of leader. Joey may be more cerebral. Both throw a catchable ball.

Sorry, but Aguilar has some work to do, to beat Hooker. WR's weren't having to come back and slow down to catch Hooker's deep ball. Hooker is a much better runner and Hooker didn't have the supporting cast that Aguilar has. Aguilar may become better, but as of right now, Hooker has the better resume.

Joey is playing really well, but no way lol. Such an upgrade going from Nico to Aguilar! Like when Scotty on EuroTrip got dumped by the cheating girlfriend and ended up with the cute blonde.

He also isn’t the runner than Hendon was. Hopefully he follows in HH’s footsteps and beats those obnoxious Bammers.

This may be off topic, but seeing Joe Milton play for Dallas makes me question CJH not letting the offense be pass happy like he did with Hooker and now Joey. Lack of quality receivers ? In any event, I'm glad we're throwing the ball and looking a lot like the 2022 Vols
