Joey Football > Hooker

Hooker is statistically only 2nd place to Manning and with the same 4 years at TN, possibly could have broken Manning’s records.

Love JA and think we’re never out of it with him but geeze! guy, Joey has two solid games against two solid teams with one win.

Prove your own negative; he isn’t >Hooker and it’s early.

In my opinion, Aguilar has work to do to catch Hooker. You want me to prove you wrong? Go watch highlights of Hooker's '22 season. Love them both though and glad we're able to have this conversation. It means Aguilar has been terrific

Joey reminds me of Hooker some. Definitely the closest thing to Hooker since Hooker. But, he ain’t him….yet.

Peyton’s records really don’t mean anything.

Zero titles.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve read all day. So based on that logic Trent Dilfer was an elite NFl QB because his defense carried him to a title? Gtfo

I love the part where you have to invoke another sport that isn’t college football to try to make a point. Nice try Francis

Unless we blowout Bama this year, I can’t ever give someone a nod over 4th and 19 Casey Clausen.
I can. 3 INTs vs UGA his senior year at Neyland vs UGA.

I see Hooker as #2 in QB rankings, and it's not really that close.

Nobody has ever put up Hooker's numbers, and it's possibly nobody ever will for a long time. As to overall records, you are only as good as your defense and the defense in 2022 was awful.

Hooker completed 70% of his passes, threw for 6000 yards, with almost 60 TDs and 5 ints in 2 seasons. He also led the NCAA in passing efficiency and was SEC Offensive Player of the Year (our only QB to do so since the award had not been created when Peyton or Shuler were here). He led the league in yards per attempt. When he was injured, he was the odds on #1 Heisman Favorite. On top of all that, he rushed for over 1000 yards in 2 years.

Principles are hard for some people to comprehend. Go chatpgt the example if you need help.

I think it’s funny you can’t actually make a debate or counterpoint without having to invoke something completely unrelated to college football….. nice try Francis

But..you invoked something unrelated to the topic. Seems fair to me.

Literally “Peyton’s records” were mentioned. Keep up, Francis. They make this button where you go to the original post in the thread. Read before posting. Will do you wonders.

No hooker is the better QB for now Joey still has the rest of the season to prove me wrong he does need a signature win for sure to help that
