Merge if already posted. Joey Aguilar’s eligibility lawsuit gets date in court
Since we have little chance of getting anything better than what we already have, I suppose Heupel has no other choice. He's gonna wait on Aguilar and pray for the best. Hey, that's what Spanky does. He's never proactive. Always reactive....after lunch....and a nap.
Yeah, the program would be somewhere in the Cumberland River drowning by now. And he'd cheer from the bridge. The Vols would be so much further along if only @CAVPUT were in charge

Always a day late and a lot of dollars short.Since we have little chance of getting anything better than what we already have, I suppose Heupel has no other choice. My understanding is Pavia’s case was not settled by a court ruling. The ruling judge just gave Pavia an injunction to play until the NCAA took it to court. They never challenged the injunctionWhat's the argument against it? My understanding of it is that there's no reason not to allow Aguilar to play.
But, you could say that the effect of the injunction last season was to grant the 4th year, post juco.My understanding is Pavia’s case was not settled by a court ruling. The ruling judge just gave Pavia an injunction to play until the NCAA took it to court. They never challenged the injunction
he played, but the matter was never settled over the right to play 4 years of Div 1 in addition to JUCO.
So if Pavia is to lose the case he should be ruled ineligible for the 2025 season and Vandy should have to vacate all wins.My understanding is Pavia’s case was not settled by a court ruling. The NCAA agreed to let Pavia play after the injunction so the lawsuit was declared moot by the court. So if Pavia is to lose the case he should be ruled ineligible for the 2025 season and Vandy should have to vacate all wins.
