Doesnt have the weight to last a full season. Dude needs to set his alarm at 2am to wake up and eat a peanut butter sandwhich every day. I know hes just a freshman but dang that boy skinny lol.
Yes, he does need to put on some weight, but I really don't know if size has that much to do with injuries though. Milton was a big strong guy and went out with injuries.

GMac is very talented but will be eaten alive if he sees the field for meaningful action this year. That would mean either Aguilar is out with an injury or the season has gone off the rails.

Those who attend practice tell me Merklinger is the odd man out. Kid just doesn’t have it.
I’m not going to write off a kid in his redshirt freshmen year. I’m excited about Faizon Brandon but there’s no guarantee he comes in and wins the battle as a true freshman. That’s incredibly hard to do. You need depth and Merk is one injury away from playing. So I want as many guys as possible in that room staying and learning.

This was pretty simple. We weren't bringing JA in, paying him a million to sit the bench. It does sound like too though that he is the better option out of him and Merk. Merk probably transfers at season's ends and GMac and FB battle it out next year for the starting job.

Good. Now its official. This year will be very similar to last year on the offensive side IMO. Heavy run game and short passes. The X factor will be Aguilar's legs and if he can connect on a few deep balls. With a deep threat QB we realistically should've beaten Bama and Florida by several scores and darn sure wouldn't have lost to Ar-KANSAS.
