Baptism by fire for Ty. It's a big ask for a freshman to play corner against any team but especially a team as athletic as uga.

Except for one play, I felt like the D did a good job containing Branch
I felt like Redmond held his own for a freshman. And honestly, a couple of those throws against him were legitimately amazing throws that even McCoy would have had a tough time making a play on. The TD to Humpheys at the end of the game being one of them. Really good coverage and it took a a legitimately amazing throw.

OTOH, if McCoy/Gibson were playing, that probably isn't a throw UGA feels comfortable making on 4th down.

lol. You make it sound like Stockton is some kind of unknown bum before he played us. He is a former 5* and one of the best passers to ever come out the state of Georgia.
I think he was a 4 star. But your point remains the same. This isn't a Stetson Bennett situation. Stockton was rated highly coming out of HS. He hasn't looked like a world beater, and he is a clear step back from what Beck was the last 2 years, but he also hasn't looked awful at all.

He may be great, but he's only starting because Beck transferred. I get a strong Crompton vibe out of him, and maybe it's because they're both athletic guys that both were highly rated and came from small schools with poor footwork.

I would not trade our QB with anyone in the country. He has a heart and gives it his all. You can tell how he has affected the team makeup. I am so excited about this team. I haven't felt this way in a long, long time.
