Just in case you or your family see this, thank you. You had a bad game, it happens. If you look back at preseason predictions, we would be lucky to make a bowl. Your determination willed us to more wins than our defense deserves. In closing, thank you and if you come to the Philippines, your first beer is on me. Or if I ever run into you when I get home to visit lol

Joey is not good enough to play at this level. If the opposition is so bad that our receivers can run wide open, he can throw them the ball. If receivers are tightly covered, he throws interceptions. He has a history of throwing interceptions wherever he has played. It’s difficult to be optimistic about the Florida and Vanderbilt games.

UGA is going to make the playoffs with a worse QB. We made the playoffs with a worse QB. We just lost to a worse QB.

The butthurt nega-trolls who take this stuff personally are clearly in their glory this morning.

Joey came in here incredibly late and has been remarkable in making this even a decent season much less better than that. We were staring at 6-6, 5-7 when Nico bailed, and this kid has given us some incredible moments to the point where we had a prime time showdown like last night this late in the season, with a defense that has been mediocre at best.

We fell short. Sh!t happens. Doesn't take away from the job this kid did in lifting the program when it was heading for a lost season. I'll always thank him for being the type of kid we want here and representing the program with class as he has, and am fired up for the last three games.

Hopefully the quitters and frontrunners get the bile out of their system this week and then disappear until they crawl back out next September.

His coach isn’t good enough to coach at this level.

He made some bad throws and it cost us. That is a fact. However, those who are bashing the guy need to check themselves. He was our best option at the time and he is still a better option than what is behind him. Where do you think this team is if he wasn't here and we were rolling with what we had after nico left? Or would that be OK because "Oh nico left us high and dry and the backups weren't ready and blah blah blah"

Joey has done well for the situation he was put in here. The real problem is how badly they handled the portal this year. Just didn't get the help they needed to set themselves up for more success this year. The silver lining may be the young guys went through the growing pains. At least that's about as positive as you can spin it.

Joey is fine and very serviceable. It’s Heup’s job is to put him in good situations. He hasn’t much of the time vs better opponents. Our OL was getting smashed by OU’s front 4/5. Got great penetration and pressure. Defense was having a better game. Once again, some of the inexplicable play calling killed drives or turned us over and the D was right back out on the field.

Joey has been a bright spot this season. Is he perfect? No. But the kid battles and plays his heart out. I’ll ride with 6 any day. It’s unfortunate that we aren’t able to play complimentary 🏈 but that’s more than just QB.

Our running game has been less than stellar during SEC play. He’s been a 🔝 3-5 QB in the league.

He can easily play at this level. The OL not blocking was 99% of the problem for him last night. Sack/scoop and score was all on 5* Sanders.

He leads the SEC in every QB category and leads the highest scoring offense in the country, but sure he "can't play at this level" 😂

This. And that play ultimately decided the game as we lost by 6. Take away that play and if Gilbert hits the FG, we are in victory formation at the end. The issue is when we bust a play we bust it BAD.

Once again, another team adjusted at halftime and we didn’t. Once again, we got a turnover and went into a conservative shell and got zero points off of it. There are many more things that lost this game other than Joey’s two picks.

Oklahoma has a great D. Like top 5. Is that what “at this level” means?
