Lets not forget about Augburn...........

True. They will be JC transfer U next year, but are in on some good ones. So if they buy in like BP's first team here, no doubt they will be a tough out next yr.

So we were not ranked by any real poll like I said. AP and Coaches are the only real ones. What thread did you link them in. Those are one sportswriters top 25 not polls.

Since you're extremely narrow minded and don't view CBS, ESPN, Sporting News, Athlon, Lindys, FoxSports and others as legitimate sports coverage outlets, I can't help you at all.

Fact is they all are and that they usually put out a weekly ranking themselves throughout the season.

You have to excuse VolArmy74. He is in the process of gathering kindling for the straw shaped man that he is trying to form for use in the coming months. Facts will only work when useful.

You're incorrect. Florida's losses this year are of a different magnitude than their losses last year. Therefore they should take a step back from 18-0.

We should have won 25 games this year, and I think we have that potential next year if personnel works out properly.

If we win 22 and are easily in the NCAA as an 8 seed, I'm not going to throw a fit.

If we're sitting at 16-10 late in the season, I will be unhappy and think we're underachieving.

You guys have sold for the past two weeks that Zo was great and that we'd be fine next year, many of you say better than this year.

Why get upset when I choose to believe you?

It's year 4, there are expectations if we bring in Rhett and bring back everyone else.

Lose Stokes, don't get Rhett, they go down.

Those people need to put the crack pipe down. IMO

After the top 3, I doubt it is any worse than this year. jmo

Vandy will be better
SC will be better
Mizz. wont be worse
Arkansas wont be worse
and Bama has a top 25 recruiting class, so they should be better too.

again, jm:twocents:

Missouri will be considerably worse next season. I take you haven't noticed the majority of their scoring production recently declared?

He'll find out in the next 12 months that he's on the plains. A place where they couldn't give a crap about basketball..even if you want to paint up for it. Head scratcher. Why does Auburn pay a lot for BB coaches?

You'll see soon enough.

No **** we're going to take a step back from 18-0. Who is saying otherwise?

We're still going to have a damn good team.

PG: Kasey Hill, Chris Chiozza
SG: Michael Frazier, Eli Carter, Brandone Francis, Dillon Graham
SF: Devon Walker, Devin Robinson
PF: Dorian Finney-Smith, Alex Murphy
C: Chris Walker (maybe), Damontre Harris (maybe)

A bit guard heavy, but still loaded with talent. We'll probably be just another Top 15 team instead of a #1 seed, but we'll be fine.

Frank Haith should not be allowed to coach the local YMCA pee wee team. His wasted time at Missouri ends after next year in my opinion.

Still can't believe that Mizzou hired Haith, who was a week away from being fired from Miami.

Also, Pearl is going to do amazing at Auburn if h stays long enough. He's already angling to land Cinmeon Bowers (#1 JuCO) and he's bring Chuck Person on as an assistant. The MFing Rifleman will be on his staff. He's about to lay waste.

Bowers has a ton of baggage.

I'm sure Pearl will do well in the long run at Auburn, but it's going to take some time. Auburn's roster is pretty much in shambles. For a Calipari disciple, Tony Barbee was a really awful recruiter.

There's a reason Florida State decided they didn't want Bowers, all that weed he was eating he's now fat and out of shape.

ESPN didn't have us ranked. They use the real polls Coaches and AP, CBS was a five person panel, some picked us some didn't. They each had a personal top 25. That is not a poll. The others are also one person's opinion, not a consensus. So no we were not ranked by any metric that matters. Yes they are legitimate sports sites but their rankings have a about as much weight as a bleacher report ranking. I'll go with the actual polls with more than one person's opinion. They are irrelevant. I can go list a bunch of polls from sites that don't matter too that show us not ranked. I go by what counts though. The AP and Coaches.

why someone cares that somebody that has never seen UT play that lives in freaking New Mexico didn't vote us preseason top 25 sums up the VN mindset for some.
We were a sweet 16 team in the summer and ended up getting there. Period.

How were we a Sweet 16 team in the summer? We were a consensus top 35 team but we overachieved.

Because those of us that know basketball talent predicted it and expected it. That was the best team we have had in years and the best team Martin may ever have. I'll take my opinion over someone that has never seen the team practice or play and couldn't name a player, much less a team with 2 all sec 1st teamers and all sec all d team that can go 9 or 10 deep if necessary.

I expected @ 5-6 losses and sweet 16, as did others. If you expected less, that's your choice.
