How could MSU start a search and lock it up within a couple days yet UT has had what 3 weeks now?
Seems like MSU was prepared and kept a list on deck.
UT could learn a thing or two.
Plus for MSU Morehead is a pretty good move.

This is just an unreal kick in the pants. MSU should never be able to beat UT in a coaching search but it very well may have done so here. Moorhead was a hot name and has been for a while. Schiano was not. Currie wasted a significant headstart with his little cabaret, which inexplicably was designed to use misdirection to increase fans’ hopes of a great hire and then dump Schiano, who has insane baggage as discussed at length and isn’t a demonstrated winner, on us. Now, MSU has likely made a better hire than the one we are destined for. Currie better find $10M+, which is what the new dump truck money number is, and do whatever it takes to get a big name or hire a VFL to see if that works and satisfies fans or he needs to be gone (and I think he probably should’ve been fired on Sunday).

No surprise they out-hired us last time we both had openings. They took Mullen we took Lane.

Not saying it is any of you that have already posted in here, but all I have heard up to this point is how we need a proven Power 5 HC. Tee Martin would have jumped on the job here if given opportunity. But our administration would rather chase rainbows than hive us a coach we could get behind. No way this Hire would be better than Tee to UT.

MSU hire = Leadership and Competence; UT's Coaching Search = Lack of Experience and Incompetence. It appears that Fulmer and Manning have taken over the Coaching Search. Hopefully all is not lost

Offer Lou Holtz and wrap this up.
